Ogallala Commons is shaped and guided by a 9 member Board of Directors, assisted by an Advisory Council–men and women leaders from five different states in the Great Plains region. The vision, service, and wisdom of this group has helped to forge Ogallala Commons into an innovative community resource network.
The main responsibilities of OC Board of Directors are achieved by 3 Board Teams. The Finance Team is responsible for monitoring quarterly financial reports and making adjustments, crafting and monitoring an annual Budget, and offering leadership to build sound financial policy.
The Annual Review Team reviews the products and work plan for our Executive Director and Staff contractors, in order to help provide accountability in all areas.
The Executive Team is involved with the first layer of communication for anything involving Strategic Planning, and provides a regular programmatic review for our organization.
In 2014, OC welcomes 3 new members to our Board of Directors: Alphonso Rincon from New Braunfels, Texas; Doug Wilhelm from Denver, Colorao; and Sandy Hicks from Arnold, Nebraska. These new members participate in the Executive, Finance, and Annual Review teams respectively.
We want to thank each of our members for their service and dedication to our organization. Take a moment to learn a little more about each member by visiting us here.
