My Bio

I was born in Colby, Kansas and attended school there until I was in 6th grade.  In middle school I moved to Hays, Kansas where I still live today.  I attended college here at both Fort Hays and NCKTC but moved away to the city in 2017, only to find myself back in Hays in 2020. My family is very important to me, so I feel grateful to be close to them again.  This past summer I went through an online coding bootcamp though Bottega in order to learn skills as a developer.  I had never done any sort of coding before, but I loved learning the different languages. I’m passionate about running, exercise and maintaining good health.  Doing anything creative (painting, poetry, music) is also a passion of mine. I just finished refurbishing some old antique furniture.  I’ve also recently learned how to do embroidery. My ultimate career goal is to find a great company to work remotely for.  I would love to be able to work from home, a coffee shop, or any cool place with WIFI.  I have learned that routine office jobs aren’t for me, so I’m very excited to start my internship that will help me reach my goal of becoming a successful web developer.  During the internship, I hope to learn and grow as a developer by increasing my skills and learning from other web developers on the team.  I’m hoping to meet people with similar interests and career goals and connect with them to build professional relationships.
