Well hello everyone,
My name is Esdras Rodriguez! I am currently a student at West Texas A&M University, majoring in Biology (Pre-Med) and minoring in Communication Studies. A little background information about me is that I am an only child, I was born in Amarillo, and I had been diagnosed with down-syndrome due to the results of various prenatal tests. I believe God has a plan for everything and instead of having down-syndrome, I attended and graduated top of my class at Friona High School in 2014. I often start of with this to show people that I cannot take the credit for what has been accomplished in my life, for my life was granted to me. I truly believe God can and will work with anyone is willing, despite our imperfections. I love to help people therefore I hope to be able to do so in the medical field, as well as in ministry. I also love sports, weight-lifting, reading, basically all types of music (except some of the ‘new’ stuff coming out), spoken word, comedy, making memories with friends, and laughing & loving with the life God has blessed me with! This summer I have been blessed with the opportunity to intern, through Ogallala Commons of course, at my local hospital. I will be driving back and forth due having Chem I and Chem II in these summer months, yet I cannot express how grateful I am for this amazing learning and developing experience! I hope to become another great member of the amazing people in Ogallala Commons and to continue the legacy of making a positive impact on our rural communities.
God Bless and Go BUFFS!
