I am a dedicated nursing student from West Texas A&M University located in Canyon, TX. with a passion for all walks of life. I enjoy the nursing role and plan to further my education as many ways as possible to fully allow myself to be the best nurse I am capable of being. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, watching movies of all genres, and playing games with my friends and family. I come from the small town of Pampa, TX. where my mother, Amy, father Danny, younger brother, Jaden, and two adopted cousins, Joshua and Jordan reside alongside the majority of our extended family. My internship this summer will be with The Pampa Regional Medical Center where I will follow an assigned Registered Nurse to assess her duties and aid in many nursing care opportunities and assist patients to better themselves holistically by providing not only prestigious care but also the knowledge needed to provide self-care outside the hospital. This internship will provide a step in the door at the Pampa hospital where I hope to have a future career. Not only that, but it will give me the direction and encouragement needed to finish my degree to better myself and my family. I hope I can influence those I care for and provide the encouragement and knowledge of why and how to better themselves in a way that promotes mental, physical, spiritual, psychological, and social wellbeing. By doing this, I will gain the self-confidence, self-worth, and a compassion towards each and every person an individual situation I am provided with here and in the future.
