I have lived in Pampa, Texas my whole life. I graduated from Pampa High School in 2021. When I finished high school, I also completed my coursework through Clarendon College where I was able to obtain a Cosmetology certification and State of Texas Operator license.
After high school, I was a hairdresser for a year and a half at a local salon. I enjoyed the connections made from interacting with my clientele, and I could build a relationship with them while providing a service. When I graduated high school, I thought Cosmetology was my passion and would be my long-term career.
This year I have started a road of self-reflection and exploring new interests and experiences. I value where I am now though where I work in the produce department at United grocery store. I am learning and exploring a variety of interests and hobbies that I can experience. I enjoy plugging into my church family, home baking, crafts, and the latest card game. I also enjoy traveling. My family completed a cruise to Alaska in May of this year and what a trip that was. Seeing the land and the wildlife is a memory that I will always cherish.
I am still on this journey to find where my long-term career may be. I am hopeful that this opportunity to serve Pampa will positively impact this. I am hoping to have a positive influence on those whom I interact with in the community garden. I welcome all the new skills as I adventure into nature while serving others.
