  1. My name is Gage Sprague and this coming year, I will be a senior at Holyoke High School. I have been in Holyoke all my life and I have big plans for the future. While at Holyoke High School I participate in many extracurricular actives such as sports, organizations, and electives. While growing up with a large family, I’ve start to grow a passion for helping little kids. As well as wanting to help other in any way I can. This has made me realize that the perfect way to do this could be becoming a pediatric doctor. I’ve started to find a drive and an urge to study how I can help in any way possible.

In my free time I like to spend time with friends and family, playing silly kid games or watching movies. Other than wanting to enter the medical field I love to make short videos and editing photos or videos. Some of my other hobbies include working out, video games, sports, etc. This causes me to always be busy and moving throughout the day.

I have set some long-term goals that will help me prepare for my future. Such as getting into my desired college, finding my dream job, and so much more. This internship can help me achieve these goals because of what I will be doing and what I will be practicing. Though I may only be observing, it’s better than doing absolutely nothing. I can get practice with online activities or tools. With the access through the hospital all the options are open freely to me.
