Hello, My name is Valeria Garcia. I am the oldest & I have two younger sisters who I love so much. I am from Wheeler, Texas. I have lived in Wheeler for as long as I can remember. I know this town by heart. My parents are Balbina and Honorio Garcia. I am very passionate about hiking in Altus, OK with my family and friends when we go camping during the summer and in the winter (which I don’t recommend lol).
I enjoy hanging out with the youth group at my church at Psalms 23 here in Wheeler, TX. I am heavily involved with the youth group. I became secretary for our youth not too long ago.
I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I like to drive around with them, get ice cream, or even just play on the swings at our city park. I am involved in the Wheeler Marching Band. I have enjoyed playing my flute since I was in the sixth grade. Next year I will be a senior and it will be hard thinking about how it will be my last year playing for my school. My long-term goal is to be a Pediatric Nurse. I enjoy being around children, they bring so much joy into my life. I love taking care of them at church or even when I have to babysit one of my cousins, they can be a handful but we always have a blast when we are together.
