Angela White-Ogallala Commons Intern

My name is Angela White.  I am originally from Shamrock, Texas, but I have been a citizen of Amarillo for sixteen years.  I am a former pharmacy technician who decided to return to school in 2012 to obtain bachelor’s and master’s degrees. I graduated in December of 2016 with a Business Finance degree, and I am now working on my MBA in Management.

I am passionate about making the world a better place through education and non-profit work.  I am particularly interested in helping others to learn personal finance skills and being a mentor to adult students.  My main interests and hobbies involve learning about beauty cosmetics and companies, building Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes, and reading true crime and historical fiction novels. I believe the Ogallala Commons internship will help me to reach my goal of making the world a better place by allowing me to research the resources offered by my community and the needs of the community members.
