I was born in San Antonio, Texas. I moved to Fort Worth from the ages of ten to fourteen. I now live in Silverton, Texas; I am learning the different dynamics of small-town living versus the big city life. The nearest town to my home is about twelve miles away. My family and I have a small farm where we work hard throughout the week. I never thought that I would ever have to wake up to feed chickens, ducks, turkeys or any other livestock. I love that we can see for miles from our own front yard. The windstorms here will almost carry your dog away. I have made some great friends here in Silverton that I enjoy being around.
I am one of seven children; four boys, three girls, I am the sixth child. I attended a middle school which had the STEM program which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. I enjoyed all the college credited courses I took in middle school as well as high school. I have been interested in Engineering since I was enrolled in the course Principles of Applied Engineering in the eighth grade. I am passionate about video games, sports, electronics, and outdoor activities. I enjoy attending youth group weekly and going to church to learn the word of God. This summer internship opportunity will help me to stay focused, give me the opportunity to work hard, learn new skills, meet new people, and be proud of a job well done.
