1) This Is Me

Hello! My name is Rebekah Heath, but most people call me Becky. I will be starting my senior year of high school this fall in Springfield, CO. In school, I am involved in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Friends of Rachel Club, Springfield Honors Society, Knowledge Bowl, and Student Gov. Outside of school I volunteer at Blue Rose Ranch, a horse rescue and adoption just north of town, I’ve been involved with them nearly five years now and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!

Besides Blue Rose, I am also the A/V tech at my church (They’re getting kind of panicky because no one else knows how to run all of it and I’m going to be gone in a year!). If all goes well, I plan on attending Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA next year to study business management, administration, and entrepreneurship. These are all near and dear to my heart because I plan to open a bookstore one day and that is also why this internship at the library is so amazing. The Ogallala Commons internship program has already provided me with so many opportunities and I can’t wait to see what they will help me achieve in the future!
