My name is Savannah Jack. I am sixteen and I live in Tulia, Texas. I will be a junior at Tulia High School. My parents are Jason and Tay Jack. My mother is the US History teacher and my father is the special ed and law enforcement teacher. He also coaches football, powerlifting, and baseball. My parents have always been such big supporters of everything I do in life. I can’t wait to someday become half the parents they have always been to me. I am involved in many extracurriculars inside and outside of school. I have been a part of the Volleyball, Softball, Cheer, and Basketball teams at the high school. I am also heavily involved with the theatre program. I was a part of two shows that were BI-District qualifiers. If COVID-19 hadn’t ruined the rest of my Sophomore year, I believe that our show could’ve gone to state. I am also involved with my youth group at First Baptist Church in Tulia. We go on many fun trips but also just as many youth camps. Starting next year, I will be taking many dual credit classes throughout the fall and spring semesters, along with my senior year. After I graduate, I plan to go into the Respiratory Therapy program at Amarillo College. It is a two-year program that allows me to leave with an associate’s degree and a license to practice. I will from there try to get a job in Amarillo or Plainview and start saving for a house or apartment.
