Hello everyone,

I am Tristyn McDaniel and I am currently living in Canyon, TX where I attend West Texas A&M University. My major is Agricultural Media and Communication and I am a senior. Even though I am working three jobs and taking summer classes, I am enjoying my summer and I hope you all are as well. I am originally from Texico, New Mexico. I grew up on a farm and ranch, so I am very passionate about agriculture and want to do whatever I can to help these hard working people. I also played basketball and softball. After I graduate with my Bachelor’s in Ag Communications, I plan to take a semester off and then attend law school to become an agriculture lawyer. As I mentioned before, I care about agriculture law and I feel like I can give back to these people if I am able to help them legally. I come from a small community, so I have got to see how hard these people work and I am very blessed to have came from such a hardworking community that made me into who I am today. This is my second internship with Ogallala Commons and I am excited to see what this one has in store for me. My first internship was with the Chamber of Commerce in Clovis, NM and I enjoyed it very much. I got to learn new things and meet new people and I look forward to doing the same with this second internship. I hope everyone has a great summer!
