My name is Ariel White. I am 18 years old. I have recently graduated from Valley High school. I am originally from Conyers, Georgia but I now live in Quitaque, Texas where I have lived most my life. I am the middle child of six children. My parents are Leslie and Ricky Castillo. During my junior year of high school, I did my first internship with Ogallala Commons. I worked an 100 hour internship at the Caprock Public Library in Quitaque, Texas. Through the summer of 2020 to now 2021, I was the Lions Club International sweetheart. Now that I am graduated, I plan to go on to college and attend at South Plains College in Leveland, Texas. There I plan to get my associate’s degree in pre-dentistry. Once I have accomplished this, I plan to go to the Lubbock Dental School to become a dental assistant. After years of working as an assistant. I plan to go back to dental school and further my education to become a dental hygienist. After working five to ten years as a dental hygienist I plan to go back to dental school, get my bachelor’s degree and become a orthodontist. There are three goals I hope to achieve during my internship: better my communication skills, help more in my community, and better my ethical skills as well. I hope that my internship will go as planned and that I can hopefully use this experience in my future careers.
