Hello all!
My name is Landry Setliff an I am very excited to be a part of this internship program. I grew up in the small town of Kress, Texas and was raised in a small town atmosphere. I spent my time working on farms and raising show animals including pigs, goats, and steers through the wonderful and supportive local 4H club. I was a good student at my school where my mother is a teacher and my father is the superintendent. I was involved in sports, student council, UIL events, and was eventually made valedictorian of my class. I was raised knowing the importance of education in and out of school. I am still active in my church, the Northwest Church of Christ, where I get the opportunity to preach, lead worship services, and generally help out. I give much credit of who I am today to my parents who taught me the difference from right and wrong, as well as God’s influence on my life. I am very blessed to be able to attend West Texas A&M University where I study psychology. I have made many friends through the years who support and challenge me, and I love them like family. I look forward to my time in this program and the experiences and relationships that will come with it. Thanks again for this opportunity, and I will talk to you soon!
Sincerely yours,
Landry Setliff
