Hello, I’m David Gary and I’ve been living in Plainview Texas for about 17 years. I have been homeschooled since I was in kindergarten and have since graduated and now I go to Wayland Baptist University. Most of the work experience in my life has been as a volunteer. I have volunteered through Boy Scouts, JROTC, and have volunteered with many of the local churches. I have been in Boy Scouts for 13 years and have received my Life scout rank. While in scouts I served as a patrol leader, assistant patrol leader, and have been den chief for two years. I felt like I had a bigger affect with in scout during my time as a den chief were I would help with the younger cub scouts and guide them on a path to be future Boy Scouts. While in JROTC I would spend most of my summers do projects such as helping setup events and helping with community volunteer work. I learned a lot about Teamwork and leadership with my local JROTC and how to implement those skills with in my community. What I want to do with Ogallala Commons is to learn how to network better, to gain more work exsperence for my portfolio, to better understand and work with my surrounding communities.
