Introduction – Hunter Donovan

By: Hunter Donovan

Hello! My name is Hunter Donovan. I am from Fleming, Colorado, and I will be completing my senior year! I am a level one intern and I am so excited to team up with Ogallala Commons and Retread Threads this summer! Throughout the summer, I will have the opportunity to learn about the ins and out of running a business. I am so excited to expand my knowledge of marketing, advertising, customer relations, and more! I also hope to contribute in many ways and help implement new ideas and programs that will benefit the business and community!

Outside of school, I am involved in and hold leadership positions at the local and state level in numerous clubs and organizations! Some leadership roles I am currently holding include Colorado FBLA Vice President of Service, Fleming FBLA President, Fleming FFA Secretary, District XVI FFA Social Media Reporter, and more! I am also involved in the National Honor Society, Knowledge Bowl, yearbook, and livestock judging. I also had the opportunity to be a delegate at the 2022 Colorado Girls State where I was able to become even more passionate about learning about our nation’s government and legislation! I am very passionate about making connections with as many people as possible and helping create environmentally sustainable solutions for many of our global problems. In the future, I hope to either become an entrepreneur and own my own company or an environmental or social justice lawyer. I believe that this internship will allow me to obtain my occupational goals by further expanding my horizons and pushing me to try new things that will help me grow as a leader and individual. Throughout the summer, I look forward to growing my leadership skills, my business and professional knowledge, meeting people, and being able to share my journey with others to help advocate for small businesses and communities! I am also so excited to be able to serve a local business that has always had such a large spot in my heart while growing up!
