My name is Jessi Stark and I am from Kress, Texas. It is a small town in the panhandle with a population of less than 800 people. I grew up on a farm near this rural community. I currently attend West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. I am a Junior and my major is Early Childhood Education. I will graduate May 2015. I would like to teach second or third grade in a rural community. I am a part of the Delta Zeta sorority on campus and we partake in many different philanthropies on campus and in the community. I am completing part of my internship in Bailey, Colorado. It is the National Farmers Union All States Leadership Camp and it is from June 22nd through the 28th. I will be assisting the Executive Director of the NFU Foundation. I have never been to Colorado or the mountains so I am pretty excited to see all the scenery as well. I am not sure what the rest of my internship will be but I am excited and looking forward to it. I look forward to gaining more work experience from this internship and to meet new people. I am a very outgoing person and love meeting people. I plan on getting better leadership skills by attending the camp in Colorado. I hope to get a great experience from this internship and make many memories. I have tried to upload a couple of pictures but every time I try it says there is an error, I will send more pictures next blog. I wanted to post a picture of the mountains. I am looking forward to this internship and cannot wait to get started.
