Introduction

My name is Reese Leiker, I was raised in Littleton, CO. I currently attend Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS. I am majoring in Political Science while minoring in Web Development. My passions involve ministry, golf and playing guitar. I am the president of the Catholic Disciples at FHSU and most of my time outside of class is spent working within the ministry. I have been volunteering in teen and young adult ministry since I was 16 years old. Growing up in Littleton surrounded by loving family has given me the opportunity to foster these passions making me who I am today. It is my hope that in the future I will be able to transfer my love of working with people in a creative, collaborative environment to my career which will allow me to leave a lasting impact on my community. I believe that an internship with Ogallala Commons will equip me with invaluable experience with community outreach and project execution that can carry over into my career. I have been partnered with the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union to aid in Leadership Camps, membership outreach, and urban Coop development. I am very excited to contribute to the commonwealth of Littleton and immerse myself in what makes my community unique and valuable.
