Hi I’m Paige

Hi there,

My name is Paige Hatfield I am a Senior Agricultural Media and Communication major at West Texas A&M. I am the oldest daughter of Jamie and Jeffery Hatfield; my family and I are from Palestine TX.  We  became involved in agricultural in Anderson we got more involved in 4-h.  Through 4-h I showed pigs and heifers and well as working in the Vet Science program and Leadership teams on both a local and county levels.

I loved every second of it and I was so blessed to have such a wonderful experience. I’d love to be able to help people learn what agriculture is. Aw well as to be able help farmers and ranchers learn how water in an even more effective way to help push agriculture into the future. This is why Ogallala Commons Community Internship is so important to me. in this internship this summer I am going to be working in Swisher County working in the agricultural industry. I look forward to keeping you all up to date on how this wonderful internship is going In the future I would like to work for Texas Farm Bureau as a Field Representative or in Texas A&M Agrilife Extension as a 4-H & Youth development agent. This internship can help me to further my communication skills as well as helping to provide new experiences for the future.
