Enter The Life of Alex Suarez

Hi! I am Alex Suarez from Campo, Colorado and I am currently a Sophomore here at Campo High. I was born in Apple Valley, California and my family moved to Campo when I was five. I have five sisters and three brothers and I am the best uncle to two nephews and two nieces. Ever since I moved here I have been involved in basketball. Recently, I have started playing football and baseball for the Springfield Longhorns (woo-hoo). I am very involved in my community and I am the 4-H, Student Council, and Youth Advisory Council Reporter. In 4-H I show market lambs and have been very happy with my results. In April our school started a new club, the FOR Club (Friends of Rachel) started because Rachel Scott was the first person to get shot in the 1999 Columbine School Shooting, I am the Chairman for that club with my other Campo intern being the secretary. My football team played in the state playoffs and went all the way to the quarter finals! In Campo I am the only Sophomore so things are always pretty great when its just me in a class, by the way, I am the TOP SOPHOMORE. When I’m not running around with friends or playing sports I like to relax at home, drink chocolate milk, and watch How I Met Your Mother. That’s the life! Normally during the summer, my schedule is well packed, but this year I have decided to take on this internship with Ogallala Commons to better myself and my community. Later Hombres!
