community service

Hello everyone im back again to tell you about the community service I have done for my internship. The main thing that I have been doing and  has took up most of the ten hours of community service is helping the pueblo of Pojoaque bison program feed the heard of buffalo. I decided to do this as my community service because my cousin who  works there was injured so I thought I could help him out and at the same time help my self out by getting some community service hours in as well. I have also been cutting my aunties grass and weeds for them. I haven’t really been timing it but I am  sure I’m well past the required ten hours of community service.

The best part about doing most of my community service with the bison program was getting to see all the buffalo eat.We fed them half ton bails of alfalfa every day or every other day depending on if they still had any left the next day. We also fed them some local apples which only some  seemed to enjoy. That was pretty much the best part. The most challenging experience for me out of this  happened when I was cutting my aunties grass. I  accidently killed one of her turtles with the lawn mower. I felt so bad after I didn’t even have the guts to tell  her. It was crazy there was little piece of turtle all over the place. I even double checked the grass before I started just to make sure it wouldn’t happen. I think the poor little guy was trying to burrow in to the ground because it was starting to get cold. So there was no way I could see it. I don’t think I will ever get the courage to tell her about it.
