Blog 1: Your Bio

Hello, my name is Alli Keisel, and I am an Ogallala Commons Intern. Over the course of this summer, I will be completing my internship in the Physical Therapy Department at Melissa Memorial Hospital in Holyoke, Colorado. Over the course of the summer, I will complete 230 hours, shadowing Jill Pelster and Leah Hoyer. I am very excited for this opportunity, as it will give me a great insight to what a future career in physical therapy will be like.

I was born in Sterling, Colorado, and I attended Fleming school from Kindergarten to graduation. I graduated from Fleming High School in 2018, with a class of 14. I am currently a human biology major at Chadron State College as well as playing on the volleyball team there. I just completed my freshman year. I really enjoy the close-knit feel of CSC because of the small school that I attended. I am currently home for the summer from college, residing in Holyoke, Colorado. I have a younger sister, Emma, that is a sophomore at Sterling High School, and an older sister, Timmi. Timmi also attends Chadron State as well as playing on the volleyball team. My parents are Bob and Leslie Keisel and Kyle and Christy Stumpf.

After graduating from CSC, I will then attend physical therapy school. PT school is very competitive and difficult to get in to. This internship will provide vital experience and opportunities that will greatly help me in my future career as well as getting accepted into physical therapy school.
