My name is Sydni Hill, I am 19 years old. I graduated from Clovis High School in 2018 and I currently attend The University of the Southwest in Hobbs, I am on a golf scholarship and I am pursuing a career in business. I was born in Hobbs, New Mexico and I lived in Lovington until I was 3. My dad got a new job in Clovis as an assistant principal at Marshall Middle School and I have been in Clovis ever sense. I have always been passionate about sports and school, I’ve been playing sports for as long as I can remember and I have always taken great pride in school and my education. I was torn between getting an education degree or a business degree, this internship will allow me to see what being a teacher takes but I will also see the business side of schools because I get to work with teachers and principals that teach me business aspects. As I just completed my first year of college and will begin doing my sophomore year in the fall I was very grateful to do this internship for the second year in a row. I have always loved working with kids and my internship last year was a great experience! I feel like I have grown a lot sense the last internship and going to college really helped me mature as a person so I am really looking forward to my second internship because I know what to expect and I can really get out of my comfort zone and expand my career.
