My name is Sydni Hill, I am 18 years old. I recently graduated Clovis High School and I will be attending The University of the Southwest in the fall on a golf scholarship and pursuing a career in education. I was born in Hobbs, New Mexico and I lived in Lovington until I was 3. My dad got a new job in Clovis as an assistant principal at Marshall Middle School and I have been in Clovis ever sense. I have always been passionate about sports and school, I’ve been playing sports for as long as I can remember and I have always taken great pride in school and my education. My main hobby is sports but since I have recently graduated I have been helping my old high school basketball coach this summer because he has been short on staff. I want to pursue a career in education and also become a coach. This internship will allow me to see what being a teacher takes and will help me get a jumpstart into my career. I have always loved working with kids and I believe that there is no better way to impact children’s lives than joining the education field.
