Hi, my name is Jade Artzer. It is my second year as an intern. Last year, I worked in my community, completing a survey, and helping to plan a community event. This year, I will experience a remote internship entering data about the limestone rock of Kansas.
I am from Goodland, Kansas. I recently graduated from Goodland Jr.-Sr. High School. This fall, I am attending Fort Hays State University. My major is in Business Management. I plan to obtain minors in Public Relations and Entrepreneurship. Receiving my MBA has always been a goal, one that I am excited to begin working toward. I have my own company, Made by Jade LLC. I have been successfully running my business since I was eleven years old. I want to further my business with an upper-level education. That is why I chose management.
Along with business, my passion is cheerleading. In the beginning, cheerleading was just an activity I did until I fell in love with the sport. I made the NWKS All-Star Team twice and was an All American Cheerleader. I cheered all girl through high school and now am going to be on the coed squad at the collegiate level. Other than cheer, I do a lot of volunteer work. Growing up in 4-H allowed me to learn through participation in many different types of activities. I helped with younger 4-H kids, all while participating in my project areas, ranging from livestock to cooking, sewing, etc. This is a small part of my life, and I’m excited to share with others.
