Hey Everybody!!
My name is Anndee Lou Young, I am seventeen years old and will be eighteen in August! Some things you should know about me is that I am very outgoing and always up for fun adventures! I go to school at Tulia High School and will enter my senior year in the fall. I live fifteen miles outside of Tulia Texas, where I grew up on a farm with my brother Landry who is eleven years old and is my very best friend, and my parents Layne and April. We have been a 4-H family most all of our lives. I have been in 4-H for 9 years and have loved every second of it. I am very passionate about my 4-H career. My projects in 4-H include swine, beef, photography, food and nutrition, and lots and lots of community service. One of my favorite projects is swine because I get to enjoy the stock show atmosphere, make lots of new friends, laugh, and most importantly have fun!
My plans after High School are to attend West Texas A&M University and study Ag Communications and later become a county extension agent. I am very excited about the Ogallala Commons Internship because I know it will teach me a lot of new and exciting things and help me decide on just the right career path God has set for me.
In my life I have had to face many hard challenges and when times are tough I always remember my favorite Bible verse, ” God is within her, she will not fail. ” Psalm 46:5 which helps me grow and learn through hard challenges.
I can’t wait to see how the summer unfolds!
