Hey, Y’all! My name is Emily Gamble. I live in Silverton, Tx, and have my whole life. I am about to be a senior at Silverton ISD. I love my small town and always do all I can to help. My community means the world to my family and me. My grandparents were born and raised here in Silverton; this has always been my parent’s home. I am active in all community and school activities. Like 4-H, FFA, FCCLA. TAFE, NHS, Yearbook, Student Council, and so much more. I love my family which consists of my mom, dad, and little sister Madi. My whole family takes up almost half of the town so Christmas and Thanksgiving are crazy.
I have always been a big believer in teaching people about what I love. That is why 4-H means so much to me. My plans after high school are to attend West Texas A&M in Canyon, TX. I plan on getting a Bachelors Degree in family and community sciences. As well as a degree in Ag sciences. I plan on using these degrees to become a county extension agent myself. This will be my third internship as I did one last summer. As well as did one as part of a pilot program during the school year. I cannot wait to see what this internship brings and how I grow this summer with it. My internship is at my County Extension Office. This internship will hopefully get me a step further in my career.
