My name is Abigail Rosas. I am the youngest child of Martin and Mary Helen Rosas, along with three older siblings, Adam, Adrian, and Teresa, two nephews, one niece, and another little girl on the way. I grew up in the small town of Hart, Texas, where I attended kindergarten through high school, graduating as the class of 2017 Valedictorian. I am 19 years old and currently a junior at West Texas A&M University. I have declared my major to be Business and Finance. I chose this as my major because I enjoy the financial side of math, such as adding and subtracting. Secondly, I want an occupation where I will not be living pay check to pay check, as I was when I was growing up. I am forever grateful for my parents and the hard work they did and continue doing on a day to day basis to give me and my siblings everything we needed to live a healthy, happy life, but I would like to give back to them for all they have done for me. I am passionate about my family and my education. Any free time I have, I love spending it with them. I love my family and they have been such a strong support in my life encouraging me in anything I do. My overall goal is to graduate college with honors and make my parents proud. This internship will help me achieve these goals by keeping me on top of my studies and helping me network within businesses. I am forever grateful for the opportunity Ogallala Commons has allowed me to have.
