All About Me!

My name is Katherine Fulkerson, and I am sixteen years old. I live in Nazareth, Texas, and have lived here most of my life. I am a junior at Nazareth High School and have played flute in the High School band since the seventh grade. I am a part of the Nazareth Yearbook, and my favorite subject is English. I have competed in UIL spelling since I was in third grade, and I advanced to the State competition in spelling my freshman, sophomore, and junior years. I placed 6th this year. I have participated in Girl Scouts since second grade, and I am currently working to earn my Gold award. I love spending time with family and friends, and my favorite activity is dancing with the Kwahadi Native American Dancers. I have been dancing since I was eleven years old, and I have mastered some of the hardest dances there. Since I joined Kwahadis, I have made many new friends and traveled to Italy, France, England, and across the United States. After I graduate, I plan to go to college at West Texas A&M University and major in education. This internship could help prepare me for future jobs and learn key life skills, such as record keeping and understanding more about the agricultural fields.
