About Me

Why hello, my name is Louis Hood, and I am from Denver. I have lived here most of my life, and attended college in Hays, Kansas. I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English with a concertation in Literature. I enjoy running, hiking, and snowboarding, really anything that takes place outdoors. I haven’t been able to snowboard or hike too much while living in the plains of Kansas, but I am excited to experience more of the mountains now that I am back home. I also enjoy reading, movies, and playing with my dog, Henry.

I am excited for my internship because I have always been interested in helping others develop and maintain a healthy life style. I love Denver and am believe in using our resources to help all communities in need. I hope to use my skills of writing and communication I developed in college to add value of the work being done at my internship. I also wish to take the skills learned from my time as an Ogallala intern and apply to them a full-time job, hopefully in Denver. At this time, I am not entirely sure what I will be doing for an internship, but I am eager to learn the ropes and use my skills to help my community.
