My name is Rocelyn Miller. I was born and raised in Dodge City, Kansas. I am a 2021 graduate from Dodge City High School. I am 17 years old and I have two brothers and two dogs. Throughout high school, I was involved in many extracurricular activities. I was a part of the Drill Team, Softball Team, Volleyball Team, Student Council, National Honors Society, and I was a leader in our school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Next school year, I will attend Washburn University to major in Kinesiology. After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I will attend Physician Assistant School and work in a family care clinic as a PA. I plan to come back to Dodge City to raise a family and work. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing or watching sports, babysitting, and playing board games. My favorite thing to do is travel, especially to other countries. I love seeing how people in other places live their lives.
My passion is to make a difference, whether that means making a difference in my community or making a difference in people’s lives. I am an intern for the Dodge City/ Ford County Development Corporation. More specifically I will be working with REWA (Rural Education and Workforce Alliance). During this internship, I hope to learn leadership and teamwork skills. I also hope to get a better understanding of my community and the many people who work to keep it going. I’m so thankful for this opportunity and can’t wait to see where it takes me!
