A Lil’ About Me!

Hey y’all! My name is Lena Garrison and I am a Plant, Soil, and Environmental Science major at West Texas A&M University! I graduate this coming December and I will a graduate with a bachelors of Science and a minor in Spanish. GO BUFFS! Besides Canyon, Texas – I call Rye, Colorado home. Quite the different places- I know, but my heart will forever live in the mountains! Since moving to West Texas, this community and area has brought my life so much joy, happiness, and wonderful people and I couldn’t be more thankful. This summer I am working in Plainview, Texas with Todd Agricultural Consulting, scouting fields of all different crops in the Plainview and surrounding areas. Some fun facts about me include: my favorite color is red; I think turquoise goes with anything, and I have my own social media boutique where I sell jewelry and handbags. Even though I live in Red Raider territory, you’ll always hear me yelling “BOOMER SOONER” and supporting the University of Oklahoma! I am so thankful for this opportunity to complete my internship through Ogallala Commons with Kristyn and Darryl and to be able to work for James Todd daily. I look forward to hard work, knowledge, and growth this summer!
