Josh Elmore Introduction

My name is Josh Elmore and I am from a small town outside of Waco, TX called China Spring. Sports and the outdoors sum up my entire childhood as I competed in baseball, basketball and football. The little time I had away from sports, I would sneak off into the woods and learn the value of resources available to us through hunting and fishing taught to me by my father. All of the men in my family have worked in the agricultural business which is where my passion for the outdoors grew immensely as I observed the dedication, day in and day out, of the work force that make agriculture possible. It was the teamwork and respect for one another that caught my eye watching all that took place to put food on the table. I am passionate about helping others, especially in the agricultural industry which has always been close to me. My long-term career goals are to be a trusted agronomist gaining experience to eventually become a manager/owner. This internship can help me reach those goals by meeting new people, gaining knowledge and ethics of the industry, and developing natural skills to contribute to the success of a company.
